College of Business Alumni Awards
These awards are given annually by the College
of Business at the Iowa State University Alumni
Association all-university Honors and Awards
Ceremony at Homecoming each fall.
As our alumni base stretches far and wide across
the globe, we are not always aware of the
achievements of our former graduates. We would
appreciate your help in locating our "stars" so
that we might appropriately salute them and
their accomplishments.
Citation of Achievement Award
Honors distinguished alumni who
have demonstrated outstanding achievement in
life beyond the campus.
John D. DeVries Service Award
Recognizes individuals who have
demonstrated outstanding service to the College
of Business.

Recognizes alumni aged 40
and under who have excelled in their professions and

James A. Hopson Alumni Volunteer Award
Recognizes recent
alumni who demonstrate loyal and outstanding service to the
ISU Alumni Association through early membership in the
organization and leadership and involvement in
alumni-related activities.

Impact Award
Recognizes
an individual, business, an organization, or unit for
achievements that expand the scope and reach of; increase
the involvement of ISU alumni, students, and/or friends in
the life and work of; create positive publicity and
recognition for; and bring honor to ISU during the year
prior to being nominated, have increased the involvement and
visibility of alumni, students, and friends in the life and
work of Iowa State University and the Alumni Association
during the current academic year.

ISUAA Superior Service
to Alumni Award
Awarded at the University's Fall Convocation
Ceremony. Recognizes an Iowa State faculty or staff
member who has demonstrated a commitment to establishing or
furthering alumni relationships with the university.

Wallace E. Barron All-University Senior Award
Awarded at the University's Student Scholars and Leaders
Ceremony each spring. Recognizes outstanding seniors who
display high character, outstanding achievement in academics
and university/community activities, and promise for
continuing these exemplary qualities as alumni.
