Professional Activities
Ronald Banse is currently assistant general auditor for Union Pacific Corporation in Omaha, Nebraska.  He has responsibility for conducting comprehensive financial and operational audits of the Corporation and its operating subsidiaries. He has been with Union Pacific for over 25 years with 15 years of internal auditing experience.  Mr. Banse has also held various positions in administration/accounting, regulatory analysis and financial planning with the Union Pacific Resources Company in Ft. Worth and Houston, Texas.

Ron is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.  He is a Distinguished Faculty member for the IIA and is active on the Institute’s International Seminar Committee. He also is an accounting lecturer for Creighton University.

Ron has been active in the American Accounting Association and Junior Achievement’s project business and applied economics programs.
