Professional Activities
Kimberly (Stahlhut) Dennis is vice president of Information Technology and the Office of Project Leadership for Hillenbrand Industries, Inc. in Batesville, Indiana. Hillenbrand is a publicly traded holding company for Hill-Rom Company, a recognized leader in the worldwide healthcare community, and Batesville Casket Company, a leading manufacturer and supplier of products for the funeral services industry.

 

Dennis is responsible for the company’s global IT infrastructure, graphics services, guest visitation facilities (travel, airport, and hotel), administrative, and medical services and is a member of the Hillenbrand Industries executive management team.

 

Dennis joined Batesville Casket Company's finance organization in 1989 and has held positions in finance, strategic planning, operations, logistics, and information technology. She was the principal architect of Batesville Casket's regional distribution center network and was director and project leader of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) project. Dennis also served as vice president, business information systems for Batesville Casket Company from August 2001 to August 2003.

 

She was recognized by JD Edwards in 2002 with the Customer Partnership Award and again in 2003 with a nomination for the Computerworld Honors Award as a laureate candidate for her work on Batesville Casket’s successful ERP implementation. She has collaborated on numerous published articles and educational sessions on project management and large scale technology initiatives.
