Christensen is
currently
Pella Corporation President and CEO
since January 1, 1996, after having served as
President and COO from January 1994. He joined
Pella in November 1990 as Senior Vice President of
Marketing and Sales and was elected to the Board of
Directors in 1993.
He previously worked for General Electric in several
businesses, ultimately as General Manager
Refrigeration Products for the Major Appliance
Group. Prior to General Electric, he worked for
Trane Company in several capacities. He was a
Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam.
In addition to the Pella Board, he currently serves
on the boards of Hon Corporation, Butler
Manufacturing, and the Pella Regional Health Center
Board. He is also a member of the Harvard
University’s Joint Center of Housing Studies—Policy
Advisory Board.
