Professional Activities
 Mr. Lodden, CPA, CFP , CVA, ABV, has been with BLPC and its predecessor, Augustine & Co. since 1972. He is the managing shareholder and heads the firm's management advisory services department. In addition to working with individuals, closely held businesses and nonprofit organizations in audit and taxation capacities, he pioneered the firm's business valuation and financial advisory services.

He is a registered investment advisor and holds an insurance license. Professionally, Ted is current past president of the Iowa Society of CPAs, past president or chair of the Des Moines Estate Planning Council, Economic Development Corporation of Des Moines, and Polk Des Moines Taxpayers Association.  He has served as an AICPA (American Institute of Public Accountants) Council Member and AICPA Vision Project Participant.  He is currently secretary of the Financial Planning Association of Iowa and a board member of RACI.

Ted enjoys watching and coaching his two sons in sports activities.  He also enjoys Tae Kwon Do (third degree black belt), golf, and fishing.
