Department of Logistics, Operations, and
Management Information Systems (LOMIS)

The creation of products and services requires the management of complex operational, inter-organizational, and information technology issues. The academic programs offered by the LOMIS department are designed to prepare students for future positions managing production and service operations, logistics, transportation, and information systems.

LOMIS faculty are recognized for outstanding research accomplishments and business impact. LOMIS faculty include:

• A principal investigator for a National Science Foundation planning grant for a successful software developer
• Co-editors of the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management
