The College of Business presented the Dean’s Advisory Council (DAC) awards to faculty and staff for extraordinary contributions over the past year. Michael Crum, Professor of Transportation and Logistics and John and Ruth DeVries Endowed Chair In Honor of Charles B. Handy, was presented the Undergraduate Teaching Award for outstanding undergraduate teaching performance. Cynthia Jeffrey, Associate Professor of Accounting, was presented the Graduate Teaching Award for outstanding graduate teaching performance. Michael Barone, Associate Professor of Marketing, was presented the Research Award for demonstrating the most impact among other business researchers over a two-year period. Anthony Hendrickson (not pictured), Associate Dean/Associate Professor of Management Information Systems and Accenture Faculty Fellow in MIS, received the Innovation in Teaching Award recognizing creativity, innovation, and special accomplishments in teaching. Kevin J. Hardy, Experiential Learning Coordinator for Business Career Services, received the Business Impact Award for demonstrating an impact on industry practice and strengthening the College's ties to the business community. Patricia McGriff, Secretary, Department of Marketing, and Gregory Buttery, Systems Support Specialist, received Superior Service Awards (in Merit and P&S categories, respectively) to recognize their contributions to the College.
