Learning and Teaching: Assessment Calendar

Assessment Calendar
Indirect measures of learning outcomes have been used for several years to assess general learning outcomes at pre-determined times.

These measures continue to be collected according to the following timetable:

In addition, faculty in each department are developing processes and/or instruments to collect direct measures of learning. For example, the Finance and Accounting departments are developing pre- and post-tests to assess learning; the Finance faculty pre-tested the pre-test in October 2005. Accounting faculty will conduct a similar pre-test in Spring 2006.
