Building is used by several different groups throughout the year, e.g., The
American Society of Women Accountants. In addition, the building is used to
conduct training or seminars for a variety of groups, e.g., Iowa Association
of School Business Managers Academy, ISU extension…
College activities also
significantly impact the economic development of the State of Iowa. According to
a 2004-2005 independent study of the SBDC, the long-term clients generated $77.1
million in incremental sales and 1,321 new jobs because of SBDC counseling
assistance, and an additional $613.8 million in sales and 243 jobs were estimated
to be saved due to SBDC counseling.
