To help you
study abroad, the College of Business is pleased
to offer a Study Abroad Scholarship opportunity
for Iowa State University graduate and
undergraduate business students. This
scholarship can be used towards study abroad
trips in the summer, for spring and winter break
programs, semester-long programs, and academic
year programs.
Requirements for the program are listed below
and the application process is online. For
questions regarding the study abroad scholarship
program, see your academic advisor.
Eligibility Requirements:
-
Any undergraduate or graduate
student who is enrolled in good standing at
Iowa State University and who has declared a
major in one of the business areas.
Undergraduates must have a minimum cumulative
GPA of 2.5; graduate students must have a
minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
-
The student must be accepted
into a residential international study abroad
program (i.e., student will reside at a
foreign location for some period of time in
order to pursue studies—international study
tours do not qualify). Unpaid international
internships that are being taken for credit
are also eligible.
-
Credit earned while abroad must
be applied toward an ISU degree.
-
Students who receive study
abroad scholarship money will forfeit the
reward for any of these reasons: (1) if they
voluntarily withdraw from the study abroad
program prior to the start of the program; (2)
if they are involuntarily removed during the
program (e.g., for inappropriate behavior or
rules violation); or (3) if they voluntarily
withdraw during the program for any reason except for illness or a family emergency.
