To show our appreciation for the continued support of our platinum sponsors, Beta Alpha Psi hosted our first annual platinum sponsorship exclusive event in Des Moines. By hosting this event during the week before Beta Alpha Psi’s Meet the Firm event, we believe this event provided an excellent opportunity to casually interact with students in an entertaining environment prior to Meet the Firm.

Thank you very much to all of the attending Platinum Sponsor representatives and students! We had a tremendous response and very successful first annual event! Both the employers and students had a great time interacting with each other while playing entertaining games. We hope you all return for the Fall 2008 Platinum Sponsorship Exclusive Event in Des Moines!

Who:

All Beta Alpha Psi members, pledges, or individuals who have submitted a membership application with payment. The required dress is business casual. Each Platinum Sponsor for the current academic year are also invited to bring up to five representatives per firm.

When:

Monday, September 15^th at 5:00pm to 6:30pm

Free transportation to Des Moines left from Gerdin at 4:00 and returned by 7:45

2^nd Floor Coca-Cola Bowling Room

Activities:

Ten dollar prepaid game cards for approximately 45 minutes of games will be provided free of charge to all representatives and students. Free and unlimited bowling will also be provided in the 2^nd floor Coca-Cola bowling room. Appetizers will also be served in a buffet style setting in the Coca-Cola bowling room.

Cost:

This event is free of charge for platinum sponsor representatives and is also free of charge for all Beta Alpha Psi members and pledges.

Registration:

The registration deadline was Thursday, September 4^th at Noon. Free transportation to Des Moines will be provided to those that register by this date.

Sports Bar Favorites

Buffalo wings, chicken strips and mozzarella sticks served with celery sticks, bleu cheese dip and marinara sauce.

South of the Border

Assorted meat and cheese taquitos, quesadillas and nachos, served with chips, salsa, and sour cream.

The Far East

Egg roles, crab Rangoon, pot stickers and Asian meatballs, served with sweet & sour and soy ginger dipping sauces.

Gilled Vegetable Tray

Charbroiled assorted vegetables served with balsamic and spicy peanut dipping sauces.
