Prior to being named division president in June 2004, Ms. Heiden served as executive vice president, National Consumer Lending, for six years. She led all retail efforts, including Branch Retail, Corporate Institutional Sales, Centralized Telesales, and Operations focusing on strategies related to market management, program management, customer retention, attracting Wells/Norwest banking customers, and increased support for our sales force.
Ms. Heiden's career with Wells Fargo began in 1981 when she joined Wells Fargo Bank Iowa. She held various accounting positions before being promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer of Wells Fargo Bank Iowa in 1988.
In 1992, Ms. Heiden joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as vice president and chief financial officer. Two years later she was named senior vice president, Loan Servicing. In 1996, she was promoted to executive vice president, Loan Administration. She was responsible for the company’s more than $200 billion managed servicing portfolio and post closing operations until she was named executive vice president, Retail Direct Client Services, in 1997. She was named head of National Consumer Lending in 1998. Before joining Norwest Bank Iowa/Wells Fargo, she spent three years with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young.
