On March 28, 2007, I was recognized as a Memorable Teacher at a
luncheon sponsored by the ISU Center for Excellence in Learning and
Teaching. The individual on the left is Jaclyn Carlson, a
student majoring in Operations and Supply Chain Management and one
of the individuals who nominated me for the recognition. The
individual on the right is Professor Peter Beidler, who was the
guest speaker at the event. Professor Beidler is the Lucy G.
Moses Distinguished Professor of English at Lehigh University.
In 1983, he was named the National Professor of the Year by the
Carnegie Foundation, and in 1995-96 he received the Robert Foster
Cherry Distinguished Teaching Award. |
