Financial Planning is made possible through a collaborative effort of
ISU and six other universities through the Great Plains Interactive
Distance Education Alliance (GP-IDEA). All FFP courses are
Web-based.
Specialization Requirements:
MBA Core Courses
- 24 credit hours
Comprised of an integrated series of concentrated courses plus
course work in economics and statistics.

The
Certificate in Family Financial Planning is offered through the
College of Family and Consumer Sciences and requires two additional
courses (18 credits total) beyond the MBA/FFP specialization
requirements. The FFP Certificate covers the topics needed to
meet the educational requirements for CFP™ certification.
Certification requires successfully passing the CFP™ examination.
