Information Systems Specialization

Information Systems Specialization

The Information Systems specialization provides MBA students the technical and conceptual skills to design and develop systems within the business firm. The IS discipline emphasizes analyzing business processes, identifying improvements, assessing information requirements, and leveraging information to develop IS applications.

Career choices for MBA graduates with a specialization in Information Systems include programmer, systems analyst, business analyst, network manager, telecommunications manager, database administrator, systems integrator, and PC support in a wide variety of industries.

Specialization Requirements:

MBA Core Courses -
24 credit hours
Comprised of an integrated series of concentrated courses plus course work in economics and statistics.
