Accounting Specialization

Accounting Specialization

The College of Business offers graduate work leading to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in accounting. The program is designed for accounting professionals seeking a broad understanding of business management along with advanced study in financial and managerial accounting, taxation, accounting information technology and decision-making, and contemporary issues.

Acct 590 may be used only with prior approval from the accounting department.

Specialization Requirements:

MBA Core Courses
- 24 credit hours
Comprised of an integrated series of concentrated courses plus course work in economics and statistics.

Accounting Specialization - 12 credit hours

Graduate Elective Courses - 12 credit hours
