The College of Business offers the MBA with a specialization in Agribusiness. Students
receive a strong base of knowledge in the functional areas of business and gain in-depth
exposure to modern business practices applicable to the management of agribusiness firms.
Students also learn about derivative products and market institutions that are unique to
agriculture.
Today's consumer-focused
and globally competitive food and agriculture sector requires managers to be well grounded
in general business management and understand the distinctive characteristics of the
industry. The agribusiness specialization prepares students for management positions in
this increasingly complex field.
