Marketing Specialization

Marketing Specialization

MBA students with a specialization in Marketing acquire skills in analyzing and using existing data to make effective marketing decisions. Marketing coursework provides you an understanding of various marketing concepts, models, and tools to examine how consumers behave and markets function.

A specialization in Marketing will qualify students for a variety of positions. Career paths include advertising, consumer product management, marketing management, marketing research, and sales management.

Mkt 590 cannot be used toward the marketing specialization.

Specialization Requirements:
MBA Core Courses - 24 credit hours
Comprised of an integrated series of concentrated courses plus course work in economics and statistics.

Marketing Specialization - 12 credit hours
ELECTIVES:
   MKT 540 -Advanced Marketing Management
   MKT 541 -International Marketing
   MKT 542 -Product Policy and Strategy
   MKT 544 -Marketing Research
   MKT 545X - Integrated Marketing Communication
   MKT 547 -Consumer Behavior

Graduate Elective Courses - 12 credit hours
Select elective courses in at least two other functional areas.
