Exam 2 Review

You may take the exam on Thursday, April 26 from 3:30-5:00 or on Friday, May 4, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.  The length of each exam will be the same, the questions will be different but will cover similar content.

The exam covers chapters 3-4, 7, 9-12 and the readings associated with these chapters.  It has two parts:

Section 1: Multiple Choice (Elimination of incorrect alternatives -- see below for an example of how it works)

Section 2: fill in the blank question

What you can bring to the exam: you will be allowed to bring print outs of all of the Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, and Business Horizons articles that were covered in these chapters .  You may not write, type, or print any notes on these printouts; however, you may highlight or underline existing text in the articles.  You may bring one additional sheet of paper with handwritten or typed notes on one or both sides.

Focus: Most of the questions pertain to materials we discussed in class.  The multiple choice questions are focused mostly on definitional elements as well as higher level concepts.

An example of the multiple choice format follows:

For any question, you should try to find and circle all three of the alternatives that are not correct; however, you may choose to circle fewer than three alternatives if you are not sure whether an alternative is incorrect (e.g., doing so will result in partial credit if you correctly identify some of the alternatives).
