The Association of Information Technology and Management (AITM) is a non-profit association of information systems professionals. Their focus is on the management of information systems and information technology. AITM awards two $750 scholarships annually. They hope that this scholarship will prove to be an investment in the systems profession in Iowa by providing a promising "systems professional" with some financial assistance while completing their studies in systems management and information technology.

Student Employment Available in FCS Computer Lab  Rewarding part-time employment providing flexible scheduling and valuable work experience for your resume, plus earn a competitive wage. Work between 10 to 15 hours a week during the school year and/or summer. Computer labs are located in MacKay 108 and LeBaron 88. We now have 2 openings for the Summer of 2002 and 6 openings for the Fall of 2002.

Position Title: Computer Assistant II (Lab Monitor): Responsibilities Include: Assist with the operation of the College of Family & Consumer Sciences Computer Labs. The labs are comprised of both Macintosh and Windows computers. Assist users with the operation of a variety of software applications. Manage printing resources and facility use.

Necessary Skills or Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency with the following software required: Microsoft Office, IE, Netscape, and Telnet. Basic knowledge of the PC is required. Knowledge of the following software packages desired: Adobe Illustrator or PhotoShop, Pointcarre, SAS, and SPSS. Experience with both Macintosh and Windows computers a plus. The ability to communicate effectively with others and to learn other software applications is essential. Past work experiences in a customer service environment a plus. Work study students are encouraged to apply.

Spring Break in Iowa 2002!

Pella Corporation has opportunities for ISU students in their Information Technology Department. Job at the Ames Lab

My name is Chris Furler and I am a memeber of the MIS club. I have worked at Ames Lab in the Condensed Matter Physics group as a web admin/developer for the last two years.

I am currently looking for a student (preferably a Sophomore) who would like to work 10 - 20 hours a week doing web development (GoLive, Dreamweaver, Flash), web administration (MAC OS X Server), and trouble shooting a MAC/PC environment.
