General Objective

Business Process brings together data, procedure, workflow and distributed communication as a unified whole what a business should do to reach its goals and objectives. It is therefore an abstract data type that allows for the use of models, languages, and tools to implement and manage solutions. Understanding the new language of business process helps us ask the what and how in addition to examining the when, where and why.

Business process management is the synthesis of business process reengineering, enterprise application integration, and workflow management. Economics and not technology drive business processes. Communicating through business processes enable businesses to partner and interact with others on common grounds.
