Application Letter: Applicants need to
explain why they want to pursue a Ph.D. in
Business and Technology. They should include a
discussion of career goals and the area(s) of
specialization that they wish to pursue. They
should also elaborate on their qualifications,
including professional experiences, skills,
personal characteristics, and anything else that
they think is important for the admissions
committees to know. The letter should not exceed
five double-spaced typed pages.
Academic Transcripts: Applicants need to
send with their application official transcripts
from all institutions in which they have
completed any undergraduate and graduate course
work. The transcripts must be in an envelope
sealed by the degree granting institution.
Curriculum Vitae: A detailed curriculum
vitae is required.
Three Letters of Recommendation:
Applicants need to send three letters of
reference from individuals who can comment on
their academic achievements and interest in and
potential for conducting scholarly research.
These letters should indicate the title,
affiliation, and qualifications of the person
providing the reference. The signature of the
person writing the recommendation should be
written across the envelope seal. These letters
of recommendation, as all other materials,
should be sent directly to the Ph.D. program
coordinator.
Sample of Written Work: Though not
required, applicants are strongly encouraged to
submit samples of written work.
